"INFINITE DODECAHEDRON LED LAMP" - Online Workshop
Workshop on the development of an infinitely mirrored dodecahedron lamp with LEDs
The sculptures of the British-American artist Anthony James, which seemingly mirror to infinity, were the inspiration for this online workshop. By means of numerous building instructions from the Internet, we have succeeded in constructing a small replica. We will show you how you can use the possibilities in our lab to build an impressive effect lamp yourself.nd give you an overview of the materials required for this and the individual process steps.
The frame designed with CAD comes from the 3D printer. Using a laser cutter, acrylic glass plates are cut and then assembled with the frame to form a dodecahedron. Disposable mirror film on the acrylic glass and LED strips on the inner edges create the "Infinity effect ”.
