Open Lab Day (Wildau)

Makerspace ViNN:Lab at TUAS Wildau

For beginners and advanced users | | Every Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm | Financed by EU | Use of equipment and laboratory infrastructure, creative exchange and development of ideas

The Open Lab Days enable the creative exchange and collaborative development of ideas using devices for digital production (such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC-milling machine or textillab equipment).

Modules

receive an initial instruction (possibly every full hour at the OLD)
develop ideas, prototypes and run user tests
use the devices for digital prototyping (3D printer, laser cutter, 3D scanner, CNC milling machine, embroidery machine, textile printer)
use the Open Lab as a place for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and ideas between scientists, students and other civil society actors

What you will learn

Digital manufacturing tools

Collaborative exchange between students and SMEs and Startups

Development of prototypes and implementation of user tests, etc. by involving citizens of the region

In this lecture, we present BTU's 5G campus networks in Cottbus and Senftenberg. In addition to technical data such as transmission rates and range, we briefly present various application possibilities from various fields such as IoT, predictive maintenance, medical technology, and sensor networks.
