Prof. Dr. Isabell Peters holds the professorship for administrative informatics, in particular e-government. Her research focuses on digital transformation and the future of public administration. 

She works in particular on institutional questions at the intersection of administrative sciences, economics and computer science. Isabell has many years of experience in strategy consulting and has advised public authorities on digitization projects. 

Valentin Schröter, M. Eng.

Bachelor in Telematics (TH Wildau), currently Master IT Systems Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute. Expertise in the field of IoT, SmartHome and Robotics, former employee of the RoboticLab Telematics at TH Wildau. Workshop leader for SmartHome and Personal Robotics technologies as well as rapid prototyping/ 3D printing and software development with Python.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Berger

Prof. Berger is holding the Chair of Automation Technology and Head of the Centre for Automation at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. He is active, above all things, in the field of automation, robotics and Industry 4.0 concepts.

Carsten is active in the field of Continuous Improvement Process, ERP-Systems, Controlling, Innovation Management, Project Management.

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Kai Henning

Kai is active in the field of Software-, Web Development (C++, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, REST-API’s, node.js, express.js, three.js), IT Administration, Database Management.

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Peter Langendörfer

Prof. Langendörfer is active in the field of security and privacy, focusing on embedded devices such as resilience, protocol engineering, and Machine Learning. Application areas are Industry 4.0, agriculture 4.0, and e-health.

Dipl.-Ing. J. Philipp Städter

Philipp’s expertise includes technical implementation of industrial control systems, industrial robotics (UR, KUKA), communication infrastructure and CNC programming. His latest projects focused on 5G and intelligent vision systems integration.

Dipl.-Malerin Katharina Quecke-Metzner

As the Public Relations Manager for EDIH pro_digital, Katharina is communicating its key messages on various channels to the public, building and maintaining a strong relationship with our partners to ensure the success of the project.

Bastian Prell, M. Sc.

Mr. Prell currently works on his Ph.D. at the IKC IE, a cooperation of the TH Wildau and the BTU-Cottbus. His field of work includes Business Models, Digitalization for SME, Success Assessment and Validation of Implementations. He has also knowledge about Siemens SimPlan and Augmented Reality with MS HoloLens.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Reiff-Stephan

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Reiff-Stephan if the vice-president of the Wildau University of Technology (TH Wildau), the head of the Institute for Cyber-physical Production Systems (iCPPS) and of the research group IC3 and founding member of the An-Institute for Materials, Development and Production (iMEP) at the TH-Wildau . His research work is in the field of information acquisition and processing as well as its use in intelligent processes.

Tobias Pradel, M. Eng.

Tobias Pradel completed his Master's degree in European Management and International Foreign Trade at the TH Wildau. He is currently working for the EDIH as an employee for Networking, Acquisition and Transfer.

Martin Lautsch, M. Eng.

Martin Lautsch completed his Bachelor of Science in Transportation at the Technical University of Berlin and obtained his Master of Engineering at the Technical University of Wildau in 2022. Since July 2022, he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Automation Technology at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, where he is actively involved in the projects "pro_digital", "KI@MINT" and "iCampµs" . His topics are teaching and research on Industrial AI and Predictive Maintenance. He is expert in artificial intelligence in industry and predictive maintenance.

Ronny Porsch, B. Sc.

Ronny is active in the field of Software Engineering in the context of assembly and maintenance assistance systems. He specializes in the development of applications using Java, Kotlin and the Android Framework. He is also experienced in developing AR-Applications using C#, Unity and Vuforia.

Hector Munoz Hernandez, M. Eng.

Hector is active in the field of processor architecture's design and implementation with applications in Machine Learning.

Dr. rer. nat. Stefan Kupper

Stefan Kupper is a physicist with expertise in artificial intelligence, specifically in the field of computer vision. He is currently working on the TroCaWiCon project, which aims to automate the wiring process of O-Bus systems. Stefan has a strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Fortran, and Java, as well as scripting languages like Perl and Python. He has extensive experience in developing AI solutions for computer vision problems and is focused on advancing the field through his research.

Simon Wilbers, M. Sc.

Simon Wilbers has multiple Years of Lean and Quality Management experience. He worked in the automobile industry, renewable energies and consulting. Gaining experience with Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Vestas Wind Systems, Hitachi Consulting and EFESO consulting. More recently, his focus has shifted toward the application of artificial intelligence, with his work for FactoryPal and the University of Applied Sciences Wildau.

Frank Quadt, M. Sc.

Frank Quadt is a valuable member of the IC3 research group and is active in the field of speech recognition, 3D printing, image processing and digital solutions focusing on industrial applications such as human-machine interaction, software robotics and measurement and control systems. He also has extensive knowledge, expertise and passion in LabVIEW programming. He understands how to explain complex topics in a professional and understandable way

Norman Günther, M. Eng.

Mr. Günther is a mechanical engineer specializing in assistance systems and production optimization in manufacturing. He is the head of Mittelstand-Digitalzentrum Spreeland at TH-Wildau and has expertise in human-centered production approaches and socio-cyberphysical production systems. His research focuses on using new technologies to improve production processes and increase efficiency, and he has experience in process modelling and developing user-friendly solutions for manufacturing businesses.

Dr. Ron van de Sand

Dr. van de Sand is the deputy head of the research group IC3 and is active in the field of Machine Learning/AI with special focus on industrial applications, such as Predictive Maintenance, Robotics and Production Optimization. His expertise further includes Python (including frameworks as Scikit-Learn, Pytorch, Keras/Tensorflow, Scipy, Transformers, etc), Javascript/Typescript/React, REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, etc. He also has basic knowledge of several AI fields, such as Natural Language Processing, Graph Theory and Computer Vision.

Prof. Dr. Alexander Stolpmann

Prof. Dr. Alexander Stolpmann holds the professorship for image processing in industrial production at the Wildau University of Technology (TH Wildau). His field of research is intelligent image processing systems using soft computing methods such as neural networks and genetic algorithms.
