Digitize easily! Digital tools
Presentation and areas of application of digital tools for e.g. citizen participation or application management. Practical examples. Your know-how as the basis of how it works.
What we all know: everyone talks about digitization as if it were easy and everyday life! The seemingly limitless benefits, the simplifications in the processes, the necessity against the background of demographic change, and many other advantages are listed and advertised.
You are motivated and interested, and you have the first ideas for a digital application in your organization and then there is the reality: tenders, budget planning, questions of data protection, responsibilities, and just a lot of bureaucracy.
In our free online workshop on October 9, 2025 (1:00 pm – 2:30 pm), we will show you three practical examples of digital implementations that can be implemented by public organizations that simply "just did it". They emerged directly out of operational day-to-day business as digital support and used a software modular system from Germany:
• Citizen participation with digital youth forums,
• Life cycle of grant applications – from submission to accounting,
• Placement of language mediators with smart software support.
In addition, there will be a keynote lecture on "Digital Tools – Origin and Use" and we will introduce you to a modern, user-friendly digital protocol that combines participant lists, voting, and to-dos with Kanban functionality. The event also allows you to give space to your questions.
Target group: Public organizations that have ideas for companies that are digitally supported and want to get to know digital tools (a building block) in a practical way.
The event is organized by EDIH pro_digital together with Pengueen.
